Happy Halloween from the Larkins

 Today Tori threw an early halloween party just for their family to show off their costumes. Tori sent mysterious letters to each of their family members to lure them to the center of their owner’s room. The letters read “meeting at Katie’s desk, wear your best Halloween costume,” Tori was hoping the lack of context would make their family believe it was their owner who wanted them to come. 

Jessica was the first to open her letter, ‘what in the Dolliverse is this?’ She thought to herself, ‘well I guess I’ll have to get all dressed up. I’ll be the grim reeper because my beauty can kill’. Jessica finished her outfit by fixing her curls, ‘ah, luscious’, she thought to herself again. 

Jessica was the first person at the party, she was utterly confused to say the least, no one was there, but the lights were turned on and Monster Mash was playing in the back. Perhaps her girlfriend Ariana set up a suprise date for the two. Jessica got giddy with the thought of it. 

Then her younger sister Willa, cousin Nellie and Aunt Felicity arrived, disapointment flooded over her, this was not a date, this was a family gathering. 

Nellie and Willa looked cute as lollipops, in fact Nellie’s costume was a lollipop, “a little plain?” Jessica joked. “I’m sorry, I was in a hurry, I didn’t have time to plan an elegent outfit.” Nellie replied, “don’t apologise, I’m not the one who planned this disaster of an event.” 

“Who did then?”

“Pehaps it was Aunty Felicity” Willa interupted. 

“No, it was not me, I find this whole idea of Halloween preposterous” said Felicity in her usual get up, an 18th century gown and bonnet.  

“Of course you do!” Said Jessica. 

“It must be Tori’s party, they are the only one not here and they do love halloween!” Nellie exclaimed. 

“Tori is a weirdo, how can they enjoy family gatherings?” Jessica retorted. 

“Well, they would be more enjoyable if you didn’t complain all the time!” Nellie added. 

Jessica gave a big sigh and turned round to look at her phone. 

As the girls waited for Tori, Willa boasted about her costume in a lighthearted manner. 

“Look, I’m a garden fairy, just like Delilah Darling!” Exclaimed Willa. 

“You look adorable!” Complimented Nellie. 

“Oh but you must be cold, you zany girl wearing summer clothes in Fall!” Felicity worried. 

“I’m fine, it’s warm in this room.” Willa reassured her Aunt. 

Tori stumbled in wearing a T-Shirt over their head with sunglasses. 

“Preposterous!” Said Felicity. 

“You said in the letter to wear our best costumes and you come in the most basic outfit ever!” Jessica felt outraged. 

“It’s not basic!” Tori replied. 

“Oh yeah, it’s the first thing you see on Pinterest when you search up Halloween!” Jessica bickered. 

“I’m sorry that you’re not impressed, but I threw this party to have fun!” They yelled back. 

“I can’t believe this, I could be with my girlfriend right now! You time waster!” 

Tori approached Jessica to give her their last warning but as they did so, they fell. 

“You fool!” Jessica tweeted the moment then bursted into giggles along side the rest of the family. 

“I guess this wasn’t the best costume afterall!” Tori said as their whole body ached from the fall.
